Baby & Kid Clothing Recycling Program<\/strong>
October 1st – 31st
The Rye Free Reading Room will be a drop-off location for the Carter’s Baby & Kid Clothing Free Recycling Program through TerraCycle. The program recycles used baby and kid clothes into raw formats that can be used to make new products. For more information on the recycling process, visit www.terracycle.com\/en-US\/brigades\/carters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To participate, bring your clean and dry baby and kid clothing of any brand to the library during business hours. Clothes will be collected in the Children\u2019s Room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clearly used clothing is fine (holes and stains happen) but please make sure that the cause of the stain has been thoroughly washed away! Accessories and shoes are not accepted by the program.
