Approximately every two months we have a collection for a local community charity. For example August and September we are collection items for our local ASPCA, September and October we are collecting cell phones and other electronics to recycle, November and December we are collecting for the food pantry and Toys for Tots. We promote the food pantry in November but we do have a donation box to collect for them year round along with glasses and hearing aids for the Lions Club. I contact each charity that we collect for to ask them for a “Wishlist” of items that they can use which i post next to our collection box. We are grateful to have very generous patrons that donate to all of the charities that we collect for and the charities are very appreciative for the all the donations they receive.
No registration required.

Karen B Johnson Library

The Great Give Back
November 1st – December 1st
For The Great Give Back this year we will be collecting warm coats, hats, mittens and socks for The City Mission of Schenectady.
