Avon Free Library<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Great Give Back<\/strong>
October 20th – November 1st
We are collecting hygiene supplies and non-perishable snacks for both the Avon Food Pantry and Avon Central School District. Donations can be dropped of at Avon Free Library from October 20 to November 1.
Hygiene supplies that are needed include bar soap, deodorant, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and socks of all sizes.
Non-perishable snack suggestions include granola bars, fruit snacks, cereal, apple sauce, box mac and cheese, pretzels, Goldfish crackers, and M&M’s. Please avoid glass containers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bloomfield Public Library<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pasta & Pencils<\/strong>
September 2nd- 30th
We will be collecting donations of Pasta for The Blessing Room Food Pantry and both #2 pencils and colored pencils for Bloomfield Elementary School through the whole month of September! Community members can drop of donations of pasta and pencils in the appropriate bins in the lobby all month long!
No registration required, anyone can participate!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caledonia Library Association<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Support the Cal-Mum Raiders Locker<\/strong>
October 7th – 31st
The Caledonia Library will be collecting snacks and personal hygiene items for the Raiders Locker at the Cal-Mum Schools. Many students use the locker each year and they are in constant need of fresh supplies.
No registration required, anyone can participate. Anyone may drop off new, unused items in the boxes at the Caledonia Library between October 7th and 31st.

Great Give Back<\/strong>
October 6th – 20th
The Clifton Springs Library will be collecting pet supplies to benefit Gordy and Friend, and organization that provides outreach and assistance for chained and penned dogs.

Items needed for donation: dog food (wet and dry), durable dog toys, dog treats, bully sticks, flea and tick medications and collars, stainless or aluminum dog dishes.
Monetary donations and donations of gift cards for supplies will also be gratefully collected and passed on directly to Gordy and Friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Great Giveback: Pet Edition<\/strong>
August 15th – October 15th
The Gorham Free Library will be collecting donations of food, litter, toys, scratching posts, shelters, and other pet related items to donate to local animal shelters and rescue programs.
Anyone who wants animals to be happy and well taken care of can bring in donations from August 15th to October 15th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honeoye Public Library<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Great Give Back – Honeoye Edition<\/strong>
October 1st – 31st
This year we’re collecting items for Honeoye Central School nurse to use for all the students. The items that are in MOST need are sock and underwear appropriate for youth ages 5-18. Items MUST be new, preferably in the package. This will provide her the ability to ensure to the students that they are NEW and the students will be more receptive. Please help us out and grab some of these items next time you’re at the store!
A box will be located at the Honeoye Public Library during the month of October and will be dropped off at the school afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Great Give Back: County Canines<\/strong>
October 31st – December 2nd
This year, the Mount Morris Library is collecting supplies on behalf of Livingston County Dog Control.
Items needed are as follows:

\u2022 Martingale Collars
\u2022 Bleach
\u2022 Dawn
\u2022 Laundry Detergent
\u2022 Paper Towels
\u2022 Disinfectant wipes
\u2022 Medium- to large-sized stuffed animals (they can be pre-loved by a child)
Livingston County Dog Control sometimes gets shy dogs that love to cuddle with a stuffed toy in their kennels.
All are welcome to drop off items during library hours (Mon & Fri 11-5, Tues & Thurs 11-7, Sat 10-1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Great Give Back: Help for Hospeace House<\/strong>

We are collecting donated items for a local hospice organization, Hospeace House, a comfort care home that provides 24-hour compassionate support to individuals nearing the end of life. Hospeace House is a crucial non-profit to our local community, providing extensive care for individuals and their families completely free of charge. Their services are sustained entirely through donations and fundraising, making this location a great option for this year’s Great Give Back.

We will be working with a local Kids Closet in Newark to collect the following NEW items: Boys clothes newborn to 6 years, toddler socks, diapers sizes 4-6, baby products for bathing and diapering, bottles and sippy cups.
No registration required, simply drop off items during library hours.
Library hours: Mon. – Thurs. 9:30 – 7, Fri. 9:30 – 6, Sat. 9:30 – 1. Closed all day Mon. Oct. 13th, closing at 4:30 on Fri. Oct. 17th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Support Weekend Wellness \u2013 Help Feed Local Families
Weekend Wellness is a grassroots community initiative providing healthy, kid-friendly food to families during non-school times on the weekend. When school meals pause, we step in to ensure no child goes hungry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference. Join us in supporting the health and well-being of children in our community\u2014because every child deserves a full belly and a brighter weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re currently collecting donations for our Weekend Wellness food packs and need your help! We’re asking for the following shelf-stable, easy-to-prepare items:

\u2022 Single serve boxes of cereal
\u2022 Granola bars
\u2022 Applesauce pouches
\u2022 Raisins

Join us in supporting our local community by donating essential toiletry items to the Red Creek Food Cupboard. Many families rely on the Cupboard not only for food but also for basic hygiene products that are not covered by assistance programs. We are collecting new, unopened items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo & conditioner, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, razors & shaving cream, lotion, and toilet paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Red Jacket Community Library<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community Cupboard Collection<\/strong>
October 1st – 18th
The Red Jacket Community Library will be receiving donations of shelf stable food and hygiene items beginning on October 1 and running through October 18. All non-perishable foods and hygiene items are welcome. The items will be used to stock the Tein Cities Food Cupboard located at 4 Clifton St in Manchester. The following items are in highest demand: soups, cereals, spaghetti sauce, shampoo, shaving cream, and deodorant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone is welcome to donate by stopping by the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Twin Cities Food Cupboard is a non for profit food cupboard serving the Manchester-Shortsville residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be collecting donations for the Attica Food Pantry from October 1st-October 18th. The food pantry takes mainly canned and boxed foods but they also have freezers and fridges if you would prefer to drop it off to them directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supply Drive for Pet Pride of New York<\/strong>

We are collecting supplies to donate to Pet Pride, a local organization that rescues, cares for, and finds homes for cats. Pet Pride has specifically requested the following items: non-clumping clay litter, toys\/wand toys, Temptations treats, wet food, blankets, and towels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
